Grant & Marisa were married at Sorrento in Cornwall Park, on a sunny (and hot!) Friday in January.
We began the day with some bridal party shots before the ceremony - kicking off at Kohimarama beach, where we managed to get a great amount of shots in record time, as the boys were melting in their suits in the full sun, and the bridesmaids were getting burnt!
So after 20 minutes, we headed off to Cornwall Park in search of shade.
There wasn't any (shade, that is) on the big stone steps, so we headed along to some beautiful trees with lush, soft grass beneath - where it was a bit cooler.
I have since discovered from the comments on their blog post that the olive trees are a good reflection of Marisa's Croatian heritage... I'd like to say that we carefully devised this.. but we didn't!
Then it was on to the ceremony, where a handy umbrella gave them some helpful shade - and made for some beautiful shots.
Finally, we headed up the top of the summit afterwards for a few quick shots as the clouds rolled in - nice & dramatic!
It was a fantastic day, and we had a great time with you all - thanks for inviting us along to share in your celebrations!
