Nathan & Jess were married at Port Waikato on a bitterly cold Saturday in May. Isaac & Nathan have been friends since school, so it was really special to be able to shoot their wedding too!
It might not have been quite so cold had we not arrived on a plane from Fiji that same afternoon - it was a quick dash through customs, into the car, and down to Port Waikato to get straight into it.
Their ceremony was held at the school camp which is based there, and this was also the venue for the reception afterwards.
Following the ceremony, we headed down to the beach with the bridal party, who did a fantastic job of not looking too cold (because we know they were!!)
We caught an amazing sunset - perfectly silhouetting them against the orange sky, and then the darkness set in quickly - so that was a wrap!
It was a fantastic wedding - and we really enjoyed sharing your special day with you.
