Brett & Shanna were married at Sarnia Park in Cambridge, on a gorgeous Friday in January.
Our day began at Belle-zza salon, where we caught up with Shanna and the girls for a few shots - the Belle-zza girls do an amazing job with wedding hair, and Shanna is proof of this!
It was also lovely to see Rachel from Ruby Rouge there doing the makeup - again, another professional who always does a beautiful job, and Shanna's makeup was perfect!
Then it was out to see the boys, who were remarkably ready - making for nice, easy shots.. well done to whoever organized them!!
By the time we arrived at Sarnia Park, Shanna was ready to get into the dress, so we had heaps of time to play around with some cool shots before the ceremony - spinning up a storm on the big, wooden floors!
Their ceremony, officiated by the wonderful Denise Irvine, was on the Cherry Blossom lawn at Sarnia... and as Shanna was walking up the aisle, a gust of wind blew her veil right out of her hair!
What I love, though, is Shanna's reaction - she threw her head back and laughed! That really sums up their wedding to me - they were there to have a great day, and nothing could faze that.
We got some great shots around the grounds afterwards, making the most of some cool, dramatic skies & clouds - before heading off (just as the party was getting into gear too!).
It was a fantastic day, thank you both for inviting us along to share a part in it!
