We began David & Nikki's wedding photos with the boys "getting ready" shots - and it soon became apparent that we wouldn't need to push overly hard for adventurous photos... the first request was for a ceremonial "shaving off the beards photo" at the end of the day... and the guys jumped at the chance to boy-band it up with some posed cd-cover shots!

Then it was off to Nikki's place, where she & bridesmaids were just relaxing - hair & makeup was all looking beautiful & they had time to spare - how rare that is!!

Their ceremony at the Reformed Church was lovely - it was easy to see they are both really committed to one another.

We then left them while they had a lunch-time reception, and met up later on in the day for some bridal party shots.

These began at a wharf on the Waikato River where David had proposed to Nikki - very romantic to return and have wedding photos there!

It was then off to the H-town Gardens, where the shenanigans continued... the bridal party decided to make a whirlpool in the fountain, and Julia rode one of the lions in the Italian garden... oh, and we squeezed a few gorgeous romantic shots in there too - the dramatic clouds came to the party.

Finally, it was time for the "beard shaving" - which was possibly hampered by the fact that the small trimmer was nearly totally drained of battery by the 4th beard - but it was a fun & apt way to end a really fun day!

Thanks guys, for having us along & making us laugh - we had a ball!
