Phil & Heidi were married on a beautiful summer Saturday at Mangawhai Heads.
They were getting ready in a holiday house perched atop the cliff - overlooking the sea, which was a fantastic spot. It was a 2 story house, so we could float between the girls (upstairs) and the guys (downstairs) and catch all of what was going on.
Phil & his groomsmen were having a great time... a bit of alcohol was consumed... Cool Runnings bobsled scenes were recreated in the outdoor bathtub... awesome stuff!
The ceremony was on the beach, a short walk from the house - and Heidi chose to walk up the aisle by herself - after being escorted to the edge of the area by her Mum & Dads... which I thought was beautiful.
After their ceremony & a few group shots, we wandered down the beach for some photos with the bridal party - the skies played their part and turned on some dramatic clouds - just perfect!
A cool old boat shed also featured - love the peeling paint on the side of the walls.
We finished up the day at the Milestone Cottages - where their marquee reception got underway... and the celebrations continued into the night!
It was such a great day - thanks so much for inviting us along to share a part in it!
