Just over a month after their wedding, we caught up with Paul & Michelle again for a Trash the Dress session at Whiritoa Beach.
Whiritoa is a significant place for them, as Michelle's family has had a bach there for years. I, in my infinite wisdom, thought that as it was an East coast beach - perhaps we could shoot a sunrise session...
Everyone was excited by the prospect - everyone, that is, except Amber - who moaned & complained the whole drive over because I'd got her out of bed at 4.30am!
That all changed once we arrived, however, and saw the fantastic red skies at dawn - it was totally worth it!
Afterwards, we headed off to a cool spot in the Karangahake Gorge & got some great shots in the old ruins - such a fun location to work with!
Enjoy the shots guys - we had a ball taking them!
If anyone having a look at this gallery is interested in doing a TTD shoot with us, let me know! We don't need to have photographed your wedding - the only prerequsitie is that you have to like our work :)
You'll also see (from Michelle's mostly clean dress) that by no means do you need to "trash" or damage your dress - it's just a cool chance to get some shots that you weren't able to on the day, and have a fun shoot without all the pressure of needing to be back for the guests!
The session itself only costs you $100 - what have you got to lose?? (apart from $100 that is..)
